4/3 Class Gathering!!!
Hi 4/3!!!
Before some of the guys matriculate into their respective universities and become busier than ever and before some of the girls holidays end, let's have the annual 4/3 class gathering once again...
However, I have to admit that I don't really know what to organise actually. So here's the part where I hope you can give some ideas and opinions as to what we can do on 18th July (Date is tentative but most likely a weekend and either a whole day thing or an evening thing). So far, this is what I have in mind and I hope you can vote on your preferences.
Option 1: Sentosa Beach Picnic (whole day)
Option 2: West Coast Park Picnic (whole day)
Option 3: Dinner at some restaurant and then some fringe activities like movie or bowling or pool?
Option 4: Catered food at function hall - aka themed party of some sort? (this one has to be confirmed by the end of this month so that I can make the necessary arrangements)
Another thing that I want to get your opinion is whether you want the teachers to invited this time round. I have a couple of the teachers' contacts and we could get them down, instead of just Mdm Ros and Mr Quek, we could get Mr Yong and Ms Chua and the rest to come too. But of course, this is only with the consensus of everybody. Whether you want it to be a no-teacher thing or you'd rather see teachers that you haven't seen in years, do state your preference!
Regardless, I hope you can give your support by coming to this event so that we can spend some time catching up with one another for at least once this year! (And also I get to see all you wonderful people once before I fly off...)
Also please do try to spread the word to those who are not so technologically-advanced (ie. the people who are still not really into Facebook or MSN) and also because I don't have the contact numbers of everybody.

4/3 is on Facebook

A 4/3 gathering is overdue, and so may I propose a gathering at my place's function room on the 4th of July (that's Independence Day!)? Thought that maybe instead of going out to eat and worry about having not enough seats for all of us, maybe we could gather together in a more relaxed atmosphere at my place!
Place: Windermere - Choa Chu Kang St 64 (Opp Yewtee MRT Station)
Time: Dinner Time! Haha to be confirmed lah. If you wanna play stuff, can come earlier. I should be free the entire day.
Food: Catered Halal food. Will be about $10-$15 per pax. Comparable to the likes of Swensen's aye? No BBQ cause rainy season.
Who: ALL OF YOU!!!
Please RSVP to the events listing so I can cater for the food. And do let me know if the date's not right. If MOST of you cannot make it then, we can always shift it backwards or something.
You can swim if you want to! Bring your own swimsuits (duhhh) haha. Or basketball? Tennis? Pool (as in the billiards and pool kinda pool)? Let me know early if you are interested in any of these activities and I can book them for you! Most likely before dinner I suppose, you wouldn't want to chase after a basketball while holding a plate of beehoon hahaha.

Mrs Teo Leaving
Hey guys.. Here's an email I got. Don't know if any of you guys got it. So yeah...
Dear all,
Our Current Principal of Commonwealth Secondary School, Mrs Teo, has been promoted to cluster superintendent, and will be leaving on 14th December 2008. One of our current Vice-Principals, Mrs Cheah, will be promoted to Principal of CSS. As such, there will be a farewell-cum-welcome buffet organised by the teachers and parents of CSS.

Date: 6 November 2008
Time: 7pm to 9pm
The catered buffet costs $15. Please reply to me by 3rd November 2008 whether you are interested to attend. Most of you were probably led by Mrs Teo during your 4-yrs of education at CSS. Therefore, do drop by, regardless of the cost, to bid her farewell and give her your best wishes. I am sure she will appreciate it. I guess we can ignore the $15 bucks and 'reply to me by 3rd Nov' part. So yeah... Hopefully can see some 4/3 people there... =)

CLASS GATHERING NOTICE!
[EDIT: MEETING TIME CHANGED TO 7PM SINCE MANY CAN ONLY COME LATER!]DEAR 4/3, Once again, it is time for us to have a cosy little gathering. Why?!
BECAUSE I MISS YOU ALL, AWWW...
Seriously!
So anyway, after a mini consultation with Peishan, we decided to spare Swensen's this time and have some good Indonesian food instead! =D My personal favourite, when it comes to Indonesian food. Don't worry the prices are not expensive either and we'll just order dishes to share, with rice! So cosy! =D
Where: Tambuan Mas, Marina Square. We'll be meeting at that waterwheel next to Marina Square. You know, at One Raffles Quay or something. When: Next Saturday, 12th July. We are meeting at 6pm sharp. Be punctual or else you will be made to change in and out of your PE attire at least 5 times! Hur! I really really do hope that all of you do turn up, because I miss you guys loads (and I know you all miss me too)! Haha kidding... Well I thought it'll be nice for us to meet up before some of us start university, and drown in our own brain juice. Also, it'll be good for us to update each other about where we are going, what are we going to do etc. =)
I am at the brink of banning any NS talk for the sake of the girls... BUT then again I think it'll be quite funny and amusing to listen to people like Tuckwen, Heiwai and Kangsheng (Congrats on OCS, Ah-Di!) trade stories! Hahaha.

Mrs Catherine Yeo Retirement tea Party - 280608
Hey guys... Just a heads up here... Got this E-mail by ex-CSS Ching Yee, I'd think some of you people got it too. Mrs Catherine Yeo didn't teach us as a class, but I'm sure she was a teacher to most, if not all of us in one way or another, be it lower sec, PW mentor (for the case of David, KH and I) or CCA teacher for the trackers. So anyways, we can even make it a mini Sports Class outing for those who can make it. Hopefully most of you all can come and take a look at the new CSS once again. =) I'll post the actual email to all of you here.
Dear fellow Alumni members, One of CSS' most beloved teacher, Mrs Catherine Yeo, will be retiring at the end of the month. As such, there will be a tea party organised for her.

approx $7 will be collected for the food and drinks catered and the plaque that will be presented to Mrs Yeo. Pls spread the word to those in your batch that are not in this mailing list. if anyone is interested to perform, sing, dance, etc, you're more than welcomed. just drop me an email to inform me. also, do feel free to give Mrs Yeo any presents in your small groups if you want. but the $7 still need to pay k. dun be stingy =) there'll also be a segment for us to say a few words before we present the plaque. As such, i've arranged for a few people from different batches to do so. Class outing!
